The upper border is decorated with a ring of lotus and peony blossoms against a lustred background incised with spirals. The chief register carries function of an inscription (including engagement) in molded relief, painted in blueish confronting a lustered background of foliate scrollwork. The narrow lower edge is divided into foursquare compartments containing an abstruse pattern.
